The first NZIST Council Meeting will be held on 1 April 2020 following the establishment of the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (NZIST) pursuant to the Education (Vocational Education and Training Reform) Amendment Act 2020.

The members of the NZIST Council were announced on 18 March 2020(external link) by the Minister of Education.

Members of the public are entitled to attend Council meetings, subject to section 48 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).

The meeting agenda and associated reports (if any) will be available at least two working days before the meeting by emailing pmo@istestablishment.ac.nz.

In light of New Zealand being at Alert Level 4(external link) due to COVID-19, these documents will not be available for inspection at the physical address of the IST Establishment Unit or NZIST.

Following is a list of all meetings scheduled to be held in April. This list will be updated every month, not more than 14 days and not less than 5 days before the end of every month, as required under section 46(1) of LGOIMA.
